VFS Brand HEQ Series: Horizontal External Quench Vacuum Furnaces

The ability of the HEQ (Horizontal External Quench) vacuum furnace to perform optimally in a wide range of applications makes it the most versatile and cost effective furnace on the market.

The HEQ Series heat exchanger, quench motor, and blower wheel are mounted in one, space saving external quench enclosure to allow for convenient, safe maintenance. Another unique feature – gas quench nozzles mounted on the front door panel – provides even gas distribution.

A variety of hot zone designs are available in the HEQ Series from graphite insulation to all-metal radiation shields.

  • All models include graphite board and felt insulated hot zones or metal shielded hot zones. Temperature ranges up to 3000°F (1650°C).
  • All models are provided with molybdenum or graphite heating elements.
  • Larger capacity quench systems are available for special applications.
