VFS® Vacuum Furnace Ships To Medical Device Manufacturer In MW

Souderton, PA (April 24, 2009) – A VFS® vacuum furnace has shipped to a Midwest medical device manufacturer. The new HEQ3836-2VDS Horizontal External Quench (HEQ) furnace is capable of both vacuum debinding and vacuum sintering in a single vacuum furnace. This furnace includes a 2-bar argon quench system, with an energy efficient graphite hot zone capable of processing temperatures up to 2,400°F, all molybdenum heating elements, CompuVac® supervisory control system and a TruLock™ autoclave door. The unit features a 24" x 24" x 36" (W x H x D) hot zone and is capable of handling loads up to 1,000 lbs.

This shipment represents the 19th VFS vacuum furnace purchased by this customer in the past 25 years.
