Specialty Steel Treating Installs Ipsen Low Pressure Vacuum Carburizing Furnace
Cherry Valley, IL (July 29, 2009) – Specialty Steel Treating in Fraser, MI has recently completed the installation and start-up of their new Ipsen AVaC™ (Acetylene Vacuum Carburizing) low pressure carburizing furnace. The single chamber furnace has a 24" (610mm) x 36" (914mm) x 24" (610mm) workspace with a 2 bar gas quench.
