Ipsen Ships First TITAN® Vacuum Furnace To Europe

Souderton, PA (April 7, 2009) – Ipsen, Inc. announced today that the company has shipped the first of its new global furnace, TITAN®, to a customer in Europe.The shipment comes barely a month past the announced launch of the product on February 16, 2009. As shown in the accompanying photo, TITAN® rolls effortlessly on its own mobile platform and fits neatly inside a shipping container. TITAN® was specifically designed so that two units could fit comfortably in a single overseas container.

The fact that TITAN®'s first customer is European is validation that products designed and built in the USA still offer a great value to the rest of the world, and illustrates how Ipsen is working hard to keep skilled jobs in America.

TITAN® is a self-contained, highly mobile, skid-mounted system with fast utility hookups which installs in just one day. TITAN®'s simple-to-master control system supports 15 languages, switches easily between imperial and metric units of measure, provides real-time data acquisition, trending and archiving, and stores up to 1000 recipes. An expert controls option, with interactive program generation feature, even provides recipe suggestions based on the customer's metallurgical needs.
