About Calibrations

Ipsen offers temperature controller calibrations, temperature uniformity surveys (TUS), and system accuracy tests (SAT) that are traceable through the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to the International System of Units (SI). These services meet the strict requirements of highly-regulated industries such as aerospace and medical. Our technicians go through extensive pyrometry training to provide services that adhere to Nadcap, AMS2750G, AMS2769D, and MedAccred requirements. Ipsen is accredited under ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards, as required by the latest AMS2750G revision.

Our Services

Calibrations involve fine-tuning an instrument and compiling a deviation chart to align the instrument’s readings with the actual value being measured. Ipsen will calibrate your temperature controlling, monitoring and recording instruments and provide a full report in compliance with your applicable standards.

A temperature uniformity survey (TUS) is a test, or a series of tests, that measure the temperature variation within the furnace’s effective work zone before and after thermal stabilization. Ipsen provides this service using data acquisition (DAQ) and software fully compliant with AMS 2750G and 21 CFR-Part 11.

System accuracy tests (SAT) are used to validate the accuracy of the control thermocouples. Recognizing any discrepancies in your temperature control system allows for more reliable quality control.
