Ivadizer® - Ion Vapor Aluminum Deposition
Ivadizing Systems provide an acceptable alternative to cadmium plating for the aerospace and automotive industries. Ipsen Ivadizer® plating equipment uses ion vapor deposition to apply a high-performance, dense coating of aluminum with superior adhesion and thickness uniformity. Since the Ivadizer® furnace creates a plasma-assisted coating; it provides excellent throwing power, extending the deposit readily into part cavities. Even temperature-sensitive parts can be coated safely and effectively using the Ivadizing process. The basic models include a rack coater for large components and a barrel coater for small, high-volume parts.
